WATERFALLS OPTION: The route departs from a private base in Herradura, 10 minutes from Jacó Beach and Los Sueños. The trail winds through farms, tropical vegetation and rainforest paths on a private 80-acre property. Toucans, scarlet macaws and white-faced monkeys are regular sightings. The private waterfalls drop into natural pools with a natural rock slide.
SUNSET BEACH OPTION: Follows the Pacific coastline as the light changes over the ocean. The trail moves along the beach and coastal terrain with the Pacific as your backdrop, arriving at the optimal viewing point as the sun drops toward the horizon.
Both options: $80 per person, approximately 2 hours, departing from the Herradura base.
